Arrange a Visit

Visits may be arranged Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. during the school year (September through May) or during the summer from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (June - August). You may even want to visit during a Discovery Day program held in the fall.

Your visit will include a meeting with the counselor, tour of campus, and an overview of the admission process. During your visit you may also have the opportunity to meet our administrators, faculty, and students. We look forward to arranging a visit that meets your specific needs and to showing you all that Country Day has to offer.

We would be glad to arrange a campus visit for you and your family. Our visits are scheduled individually by the counselor responsible for your child's grade/program. Please select the appropriate counselor below to arrange your visit to Country Day:

Shadowing

A shadow program is available for prospective students who have applied to grades 5-12. The program is designed to give applicants the opportunity to spend a day attending classes with a current Country Day student in his or her current grade level or the grade level in which he or she will enter upon enrollment.  This is a great opportunity for visitors to meet Country Day students and to explore the academic, fine arts, athletic, extra-curricular, and technology programs at Country Day.

Shadowing students are provided with a snack, lunch, and a tablet PC to use during their visit. Visitors may choose to bring a book or small notebook with them. Visitors to the Middle and Upper School should dress according to our Middle School Dress Code.

To schedule a shadow day, please contact Elizabeth Habig at (513) 979-0236 or habige@countryday.net. Shadowing can be scheduled for any regular school day and should be scheduled at least a week in advance. Visitors are matched with student hosts based on the information provided in the application.

Class Visitations

Class visitations are available for students in grades 3-4 who have been accepted. We recommend half-day visits for these students that can be scheduled in the morning or afternoon; these visits typically include lunch.  Students will have the opportunity to participate in all classroom activities that will include academics as well as specials such as art, foreign language, physical education, and music.

Those interested in a class visit must arrange a date and time with the Admission Office three to five days in advance to ensure that there are no tests being taken on that day, no field trips have been scheduled, and that faculty have time to prepare for the student.  This advanced notice makes it possible for the prospective student applicant to have an informative as well as enjoyable visit.

Please contact Jennie Bedel at (513) 979-0219 or to arrange a class visitation.
