McCall Selected to Review Major Grant Proposals for NEH
Dr. Jeremiah McCall, Upper School History Faculty member and author of Gaming the Past: Using Video Games to Teach Secondary History, recently served on a National Endowment for the Humanities Committee to review and recommend major grants related to the digital humanities. McCall was flown to Washington, D.C. this week and served on a small committee comprised of professionals from the country’s most revered universities and educational institutions. He was asked to serve on the panel because of his work for the American Historical Association and his extensive experience with the burgeoining field of digital humanities. While the work for the NEH represents a major honor for Dr. McCall, he reports that the best part of the trip was connecting with an alum and touring the mall together! Please join us in congratulating Dr. McCall for this honor.
