CCDS Students are Perfect on Sections of the SAT Tests

Several members of the rising junior and senior classes have scored perfect 800’s on SAT II’s or single sections of the SAT I this spring. SAT II’s are one-hour subject tests that students take after completing a high-level course in the subject. The SAT I is a scholastic achievement test that colleges require for admission.

On the SAT II in U.S. History, Holly Dayton ‘13, Luke Hall ‘13, Sam Hall ‘13 and Avery Maier ’13 all scored 800. On the SAT II in Chemistry, Luke Hall and Sam Hall scored 800. On the SAT II in English Literature, Holly Dayton scored 800. On the SAT II in Biology, Julian Braxton ‘14, Jack Findley 14‘, Grant Swinton ‘14 and Douglas Tallmadge ‘14 all scored 800.

On the SAT I, Sam Hall ’13 scored 800 on the Math section, Isabelle McAlevey ‘13 scored 800 on the Critical Reading section, and Rebecca Miller ’13 scored 800 on the Critical Reading and Writing sections.
