Parents Overview
As an independent school, Cincinnati Country Day School relies on the involvement of its community to maintain its position as a local, national, and international leader in education. Providing our students with an education that is demanding and supportive is a responsibility we all share. The faculty and parents, working together as a team, form a powerful alliance that enriches the lives of all children.
Parents have the opportunity to be involved in their children’s school lives in many ways. Many parents choose to become active members of the Parents’ Association by volunteering in the classroom, on field trips, with athletic programs (Athletics Boosters), or providing a helping hand at the spring auction or with the Annual Fund campaign. While these opportunities give parents a deeper insight into the lives of their children and classmates, they also provide parents with opportunities to form personal friendships and professional networks.
We invite everyone’s participation in our school community, and we encourage you to be involved in our ongoing efforts to live the School mission to — “provide each student with superior preparation for success in college and life” and to “inspire a passion for learning and independent thinking through a steadfast commitment to academic excellence, personal integrity, and service to others.”
Parents seeking educational excellence make the decision to send their children to Cincinnati Country Day School for our strong academics, superb faculty, small class sizes, integrated technology, and numerous extracurricular opportunities in athletics, arts, and service. We seek an ongoing commitment from parents, through monetary contributions and voluntarism, to allow us to sustain that excellence.
