Lower School Building Project

We believe our Lower School facility should mirror the excellence found within.

Country Day is making a conscious decision to repurpose an older historic building to be mindful of current economic conditions and realities to meet the growing needs of the primary division and maintain its tradition of excellence. The campaign seeks $2,500,000 to update and modernize the Lower School building with a new entrance, a resource room, administrative space and a parent meeting room.  This will also include upgrades to the heating and cooling systems, roof, windows and doors.

The success of the lower school curriculum is evident in test scores and student preparedness as they enter the middle school. Renovations to the building will ensure the tradition of excellence and quality is maintained and our commitment is clear.

A repaired and renovated facility will expand our program and allow the Lower School to continue to grow and thrive. Needed repairs will make the Lower School more energy efficient, but capable of serving new generations of students.  New dynamic spaces will also be created for learning both as individual and in groups. Community will be strengthened through an open, versatile and welcoming entrance.
