Cincinnati Diversity
We are Cincinnati Country Day School. And, diversity abounds here and even exists in our own name! The city of Cincinnati is full of diverse ethnicities, cultures, backgrounds, and even neighborhoods. Our school represents students from over 70 different zip codes in the local area, surrounding states, and even abroad.
From the early childhood program through grade 12, over 30 different school districts are represented, and international student diversity accounts for nearly 7% of our upper school. While 25% of our families come from our own backyard, Indian Hill, 75% come from cities, villages, communities, and neighborhoods all over the tri-state area, making us the most geographically diverse school in the greater Cincinnati area. Some of the larger areas represented in our school are:

Country Day’s geographic diversity enhances the academic experience as well as extra-curricular and social experiences for students that are not limited or defined by boundaries. In fact, both the global and “glocal” (global experience in a local setting) focus of our program, is intentional. The diverse curricular and co-curricular environment we create allows students to expand their understanding for people and cultures that may be different from their own.
Simply put, our community is diverse across many attributes, and we seek to provide a real-world experience that values, promotes, respects, and understands the importance of inclusion.
