Chinese teacher

Cincinnati Country Day School is seeking an experienced Chinese teacher to implement a Chinese program in the Middle and Upper Schools and work as an international student advisor with admissions, student life, and college counseling. Teaching responsibilities include introductory Chinese in the first year with additional levels to be added in subsequent years. Teaching experience at a variety of levels and a masters’ degree in the discipline are preferred. Candidates must have knowledge of proficiency benchmarks. Strong candidates will have a proven record in the integration of technology into teaching and a willingness to contribute to the community outside of the classroom. Tablet Program Support Specialist

Cincinnati Country Day School seeks for the 2018-19 school year a new member of the technology team who will be an energetic, creative collaborator with a passion for education. Primary duties will include all facets of supporting our powerful learning environment. This will include being directed by our Network Administrator for lower level Infrastructure Support/Maintenance and working with students and teachers to support learning. Duties will be assigned by the director of technology and include but are not limited to the following:

Infrastructure

Assist with Network/server maintenance-troubleshooting-support
A/V troubleshooting for cameras-projectors-flatscreens

Help Desk

Responsible for some Help Desk coverage
Troubleshooting and remediation of hardware and software issues
Re-Imaging/Data recovery

Learning Environment

Work with Faculty, Staff and Student Users to Support great learning and teaching
Opportunity to teach STEAM/Technology electives

Coaches - Middle School

The middle school athletic department is always seeking individuals interested in coaching middle school athletic teams. The middle school program offers multiple choices for 7th and 8th grade students in Fall, Winter, and Spring. Candidates should be self-motivated, knowledgeable of their sport, organized and have the ability to lead and foster love of sports in middle school athletes. Coaches will be responsible for planning daily practices, proctoring game day study halls, coaching at all matches/games, working with co-coaches, and communicating regularly with parents and athletic director. Sport Teams:

Fall: Cross Country, Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, Football, Volleyball, Golf, and Girls Tennis

Winter: Swimming, Gymnastics, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Wrestling, General Fitness and Agility Program

Job Description: Boys Varsity Golf Head Coach

Reports to: Director of Athletics

Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the head golf coach is to lead the CCDS golf program, making it a competitive interscholastic endeavor while remaining compliant with the mission of the school. The head golf coach will lead the program from the middle school to the varsity and be responsible for giving the students a positive experience.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and lead the CCDS golf program, teaching the fundamentals of the game to the student athletes while developing life skills
  • Teach and promote the USGA and OHSAA rules and regulations
  • Schedule matches, tournaments, and practices with golf courses and opposing schools
  • Communicate with families and faculty regarding program goals and schedule
  • Responsible for ordering and distributing uniforms and equipment
  • Attend all MVC and SWDAB meetings
  • Attract strong admission candidates to the school
  • Assist in college placement process for those students who desire to play at the collegiate level
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics
  • Support the School and its leadership
