The Region's First Teaching Fellow Program
In August, we welcomed our inaugural class of teaching fellows – Andy Ahrens, Yasmin Kloth `01, and Will Stratford – to our campus to begin their journey in the region’s first Teaching Fellows Program. This innovative initiative was designed to cultivate the next generation of exceptional educators and was created in response to the nationwide teacher shortage as well as the growing need for dynamic, well-prepared educators.
The arrival of Andy, Yasmin, and Will marks an exciting step forward as Country Day continues to invest boldly in the future of teaching. Now that these three fellows are established in their work alongside our talented faculty mentors, we asked them to provide some insight into their first semester in the program.
