Teaching Fellow
Cincinnati Country Day School seeks dynamic aspiring or early career educators to join our Teaching Fellows Program. Teaching fellows will comprise a cohort of three passionate and knowledgeable educators interested in launching their careers at a leading independent school. Fellows will be welcomed into a rich, robust learning and teaching environment designed for ambitious and creative educators to inspire curious, high-achieving students.
Fellows will be paired with experienced teachers, who will serve as mentors and gradually provide opportunities for the fellow to lead the learning in the classroom. Fellows will be expected to coach and/or lead co-curricular activities. The Country Day Teaching Fellows Program will afford aspiring teachers the space and place to learn their craft while contributing to a thriving learning environment at a premier educational institution.
As the program is a two-year commitment; the position is for both the 2025-26 school year and the 2026-27 school year. Employment will begin on August 1, 2025.
Job Responsibilities
- Co-teach multiple sections of a subject area with an experienced teacher
- Coach and/or lead three (3) co-curricular activities

Upper School Math Teacher

Position
Cincinnati Country Day School seeks an experienced upper school math teacher. Candidates should have a master’s degree and experience teaching Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, AP Statistics, or Calculus with a commitment to enhancing the student experience through modern pedagogy (including integrating technology where appropriate). A willingness to contribute to the community outside of the classroom is expected, and candidates with athletic coaching interests are encouraged to apply. Opportunity for departmental leadership may also be available.

Middle School English Teacher and Advisor
Cincinnati Country Day School has an exciting opportunity for a Middle School English teacher. The middle school is seeking a professional, energetic, and dedicated individual to work on the 5th grade team. The creative and positive individual should have previous experience teaching English and should be a good teammate and colleague. The ideal candidate must be a strong communicator, who is energetic and flexible.

Enterprise Systems Manager
Cincinnati Country Day School (CCDS) is seeking an experienced, dynamic, organized problem solver with the confidence and abilities to oversee the school’s critical infrastructure and systems. We are seeking an enterprise systems manager with a proven track record of managing a complex environment aligned with ours. The focus will be on maintaining and implementing systems that support the school’s pedagogical and operational goals of our benchmark technology program and function as part of the technology leadership team. The position is a 12-month, full-time position that reports to the director of technology. Start date is summer 2025 or earlier if possible.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The enterprise systems manager will configure, maintain, and support:
- A large Microsoft userbase across campus, approx. 1000 Surface Pro and Surface Go devices deployed.
- Work alongside CCDS’s network admin to ensure system uptime and issue resolution.
- Extreme Networks and HP Aruba Layer-3 LAN switches.
- Extreme Networks Wi-Fi (Extreme Cloud IQ).
- Microsoft virtualized server operating systems and applications (Azure Stack HCI and Hyper-V, Windows Server, SQL Server, Exchange Server).
- MS Windows 11 Surface Pro devices -- operating system, application, policy deployment.
- Intune administrator.
- Microsoft cloud services including (Entra ID, Intune, Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and School Data Sync).
- Microsoft Enterprise PKI and publicly trusted certificates.
- Support Microsoft on-premises Active Directory and Microsoft Azure cloud AD.
- Microsoft networking services (DHCP, DNS, NPS, File, and Print Services).
- Google Cloud DNS and Google Domains (Squarespace).
- PaperCut MF print management services.
- PowerShell scripts for system administration and data synchronization using VSCode and GitHub.
- Fortinet edge firewalls.
- AudioCodes SIP session border controller.
- Certain components of the Veracross school information system.
- Coro cybersecurity system.
- Lenel OnGuard access control system.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field
- Networking: (Required) Enterprise networking skills equivalent to Cisco CCNP Enterprise, focusing on enterprise LAN deployment, administration, and maintenance. (Preferred) Familiarity with specific equipment used in our IT environment
- 5+ years’ experience as a systems administrator with specific skills aligned with our IT environment
- Expertise in Microsoft on-premises and cloud-based systems administration
- Expertise in PowerShell programming
- Mastery of Microsoft 365 software suite use and administration
Additional Duties
- Maintain and troubleshoot Veracross SIS
- IT documentation (Excel, Visio) including hardware and software inventory and operational procedures
- Technology capital and operating purchasing, including software license administration
- Level 3 technical support

Sports Information Director
Position Summary:
The sports information director (SID) is responsible for overseeing all communication and media relations for the CCDS athletic programs, which serve students in grades 7-12. The SID will manage publicity efforts for athletic events, coordinate media coverage, maintain athletic records, and enhance the visibility of the school’s sports teams through various platforms, including websites and social media. Working closely with coaches, athletes, and school administrators, the SID will promote athletic accomplishments while ensuring that the school’s mission and values are reflected in all communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Media Relations and Publicity:
- Serve as the primary contact for all media inquiries related to the school’s athletic programs.
- Write, distribute, and pitch press releases, game recaps, and feature stories about student-athletes and teams to local media outlets.
- Organize media days, press conferences, and interviews with student-athletes and coaches.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local media, sports reporters, and community partners to increase coverage of school athletics.
- Content Creation and Digital Media Management:
- Manage and regularly update the athletic department’s section of the school’s website with schedules, rosters, statistics, and game results.
- Develop and curate content for the school’s athletic social media platforms (e.g., Twitter, Instagram, Facebook), including live game updates, player highlights, and event promotions.
- Capture and manage photography and videography for athletic events, coordinating with professional photographers or student volunteers as needed.
- Game Day Operations:
- Oversee media coverage and communication efforts for home and away games, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of live stats, scores, and updates.
- Prepare and distribute post-game reports to coaches, players, and media.
- Record Keeping and Historical Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive records for all athletic teams, including game results, player statistics, and notable achievements.
- Create and manage databases of athletic accomplishments for use in yearbooks, graduation ceremonies, and alumni communications.
- Promotional Activities and Community Engagement:
- Plan and promote special events such as senior nights, middle school appreciation games, and alumni sports events.
- Foster positive relationships with parents, students, and alumni by highlighting the athletic achievements of current students and teams.
- Collaboration with Coaches and Administration:
- Work closely with coaches to ensure accurate and timely communication regarding game results and player news.
- Collaborate with the athletic director and school administration to align media and communication efforts with the school’s mission and values.
- Assist in developing strategies to increase student and community involvement in athletic events and activities.
- Branding:
- Ensure that all communication and promotional materials align with the school’s branding guidelines and values. Oversee the proper use of logos, mascots, and school colors in all athletic communications and materials.
- Student Involvement and Mentorship:
- Encourage student participation in the school’s sports journalism or media programs by providing mentorship and opportunities for students to contribute to coverage (e.g., writing articles, taking photos, running social media).
- Coordinate student volunteers to assist with game day operations, including live statistics and multimedia production.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, sports management, journalism, or a related field.
- Experience in sports media, public relations, or sports marketing, preferably in a school or collegiate setting.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging content for various platforms.
- Knowledge of sports statistics, scorekeeping, and athletic terminology.
- Proficiency in digital platforms, including social media management, website updates, and multimedia production.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends for athletic events.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple teams and events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, coaches, and media.
