Congratulations to Coach Hirschauer and the girls soccer team on winning the regional championship on Saturday where they beat Archbishop Alter 1-0. It was such an exciting game and the support from the Country Day community was awesome. The score was tied 0-0 until eight minutes were left in the game. Piper Farris `24 took a left-footed corner kick and placed it beautifully in front of the goal where Megan Zimmerman `24 had a running header and put the ball in the back of the net to send the Nighthawks to the state final four tournament. This will be the team's fourth time in the tournament in the last five years.
