Lights, Camera, CountryDate - A Night to Remember

Lights, Camera, CountryDate - A Night to Remember

Thank you to everybody who supported Lights, Camera, CountryDate 2024! The evening radiated an atmosphere of celebration and camaraderie that will be remembered fondly by the nearly 400 attendees and was made brighter still by net proceeds exceeding our fundraising target, contributing close to $150,000 to the Country Day Fund. From the flash of the paparazzi lights on the red carpet, the cameo appearance by "Marilyn Monroe", and the electrifying performance by the Bluewater Kings Band, guests were transported to the glamorous world of old Hollywood, with the allure of the hidden speakeasy and a signature crafted cocktail accentuating the night’s theme. Attendees shared a remarkable spirit of generosity and community support, highlights of which included the Hollywood Walk of Fame Star challenge reaching its $15,000 goal and the split-the-pot winner donating their winnings back to the school.

In addition to those present at the event, many more participated through sponsorship (76 generous families and businesses!), bid & buy Country Day Classics, and volunteering countless hours.

Our deepest gratitude to Sally Hernandez '05 and Jenna Milligan, our event co-chairs, whose combined passion, creativity, and commitment to excellence created an atmosphere of joy and community that made the evening truly magical. And a special thank you to Ben Tanzer '05 for bringing CountryDate's vision to life through his outstanding work on graphic design.

We hope you enjoy the selection of photos above, which capture a little of the fun. You can also click here to view and download additional photographs.
