Six Student-Athletes Sign National Letters of Intent

On February 2, six Cincinnati Country Day School student-athletes participated in National Signing Day, signing letters of intent to play sports at the collegiate level.

"This is a remarkable outcome for such a small school," said Athletic Director Dennis Coyle. "I believe it is a testament to Country Day’s steadfast commitment to excellence in the classroom and athletics."

The six students are:

Annabel Blum – Wittenberg University (soccer)

Camille Huxol – Pomona College (diving)

Jada Moorman – Mercer University (soccer)

Bella Timmerding – Washington and Lee University (track and field)

Andrew Vance – Ohio Wesleyan University (baseball)

Sarah Zimmerman – Washington and Lee University (soccer and basketball)

"Country Day's program is very similar to Mercer's in that both prioritize providing their players the support they need to play at the highest level every day," said Jada Moorman, who was recently named an All-American."I’m incredibly thankful for Country Day and how my experience here has prepared me to play at the college level.”

Including the three athletes who signed letters of intent this past fall, Country Day now has nine students in the Class of 2022 who plan to participate in collegiate-level sports, with more signings to be announced this spring.
