This year, Upper School will be producing Seussical: The Musical, and we would love to have your grades 2-8 child participate in the production if they are interested!
We are looking for students to participate in the show as part of the Whoville ensemble. The only requirement is your student’s availability to attend all of the rehearsals and performances scheduled for them. While there will be an “audition” with Mr. Rose and Mr. Miller, this is simply an opportunity for us to meet your student. CCDS is a “no cut” school and welcomes all students who are interested and able to attend all rehearsals.
Auditions will be in the US/MS choir room on November 27 or 28 from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. For your student’s audition, just have them prepared to sing a little with Mr. Miller and talk about their favorite Seuss story with Mr. Rose. We will contact students’ families after the audition to confirm scheduling and answer questions.
Below are the dates and times for all required rehearsals for the production. If your child can attend this schedule, we would love to have them join the production!

Technical Rehearsals
(These times will be dedicated to getting your students in their costumes and running their scenes with technical elements)
Saturday, February 24 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday, February 28 from 3:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Dress Rehearsals and Performances
March 4 – 9 from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m.
