Extended Day
Country Day has a variety of programs that extend beyond the typical school day. Extended Day programs, enrichment programs, private music lessons, and youth sports are available for families with children enrolled in the Lower School and Middle School.
Extended Day Programs
The Extended Day programs offer students the opportunity to participate in activities including academic/classroom-related projects, arts and crafts, cooking, special interest clubs, homework assistance, sports, outdoor education, performing arts, and other individual or group activities. Students are supervised by experienced staff who are dedicated to providing a safe, caring, and fun environment in a comfortable setting. Nutritious snacks are provided and there is a rest time for students up to four years of age in the Extended PM program.

* This program provides an educationally sound environment, which allows students to take ownership of their homework while developing independence.
Daily and yearly charges for these programs can be found on the Tuition and Fees page. Lunch is included in the price of tuition for all students.

Enrichment Programs
Country Day offers a variety of specialty programs such as Clay Club, Creative Movement, Mud Pies, Nature Club, Fitness Club, S.T.E.A.M.
Private Music Lessons
Piano, violin, and voice lessons are available on a weekly basis. Enrollment is for the semester or year.
Youth Sports
Country Day's Youth Sports programs are available for students in grades Kindergarten/Montessori Kindergarten-grade 6.
S.O.A.R. Program
School’s Out Art and Recreation Program offer engaging opportunities for students (enrolled in Pre-K through grade 6) on weekdays when students are out.
