Evaluation/Testing

Part of the admission process at Country Day includes student testing or evaluation. There are several opportunities throughout the year for students to be tested and evaluated on Saturdays from November through April. Please note there are different types of tests/evaluations depending upon the entering grade/program of the student.

EARLY CHILDHOOD – GRADE 4 EVALUATION/TESTING

Students entering Early Childhood through grade 2 will participate in an evaluation conducted by Country Day faculty members. Students entering grades 3 – 4 will take an Otis-Lennon School Ability Test (OLSAT). All families with students entering Early Childhood – Grade 4 must schedule an evaluation or testing date. A member of the Admission Office will contact applicants to schedule an evaluation/testing date.
