Meet the Staff
Our Admission Office is excited to work with your family throughout the admission process. There are a variety of times to visit campus during a group program or personally designed individual visit . Our staff is dedicated to providing you with the best admission application and visit process possible.
The Admission Office also provides additional assistance to your family in the areas of need- and merit- based tuition aid, busing, new student registration, new family social events, summer work, transition and retention programming, and even relocation assistance. Jennie Bedel, Associate Director of Admission (Early Childhood - Prekindergarten, Montessori)
Jennie has worked at Country Day since 2004 as the Associate Director of Admission and has experience in both independent school and college admission. She works with Lower School families as well as helps parents with the need-based tuition assistance process. She enjoys getting to know the parents of our youngest children and seeing the children develop a love of learning throughout the Lower School experience. She is also the parent of two Lower School students.
Nancy Bergsten, Admission Coordinator and Administrative Assistant
Nancy Bergsten has administrative experience in independent schools, university, and non-profit sectors. She provides administrative support for admission and enrollment and maintains the admission database. Nancy enjoys seeing the smiling faces of the students each day and being surrounded by their boundless energy.
Elizabeth C. Habig, Associate Director of Admission
Grades 5 - 12
Elizabeth has more than 15 years of Independent School admission experience. She joined the Country Day community in 2010 as Assistant Director of Admission, and she is now also the parent of two Lower School students. Elizabeth oversees admission for the Middle School and Upper School and runs the student tour guide program.
Aaron B. Kellenberger, Director of Enrollment Management
Aaron has worked at Country Day since 2003 and has over 25 years of experience working in admission at the primary, secondary, and collegiate levels. He enjoys meeting with parents and students at all levels, from 18 months to 18 years, and specifically the population of international students. He is the proud parent of a Lower and Middle School student.His favorite part of Country Day is seeing the excitement and hearing the enthusiasm of his two children as they arrive to campus each day to meet their friends, be greeted by teachers, and to attend after school activities. Aaron enjoys participating in school activities as a volunteer, youth sports coach, and chaperone to various trips including the 5th Grade Ski Trip to New York.
Donna Legette, Admission Counselor (Kindergarten - Grade 4)
Donna Legette is a certified teacher and has experience in both elementary education (K-8) and speech and language pathology (PreK-Grade 12). She also had previous admission experience in a private school setting. In 2001, Donna joined the Cincinnati Country Day family as a Lower School teacher. She joined the admission staff in 2019 and enjoys sharing with prospective families her excitement and knowledge of the outstanding curriculum and the students’ love of learning. Donna and her husband, Todd, are the proud parents of two CCDS graduates, Lauren (‘07) and Todd, Jr. (‘10). Therefore, Donna knows first-hand what a Country Day experience has meant in the lives of her children as well as her former students.
Kathy Paff, Receptionist and Country Cottage Manager
A parent of three lifers (students who have attended CCDS since Kindergarten), Kathy and her husband Greg have been part of the Country Day community for over 17 years. As the school receptionist, Kathy welcomes our visitors to Country Day with a smile. Kathy especially enjoys greeting all of the prospective families as they arrive on campus to meet with the admission staff, tour, or attend a campus event. Kathy is also the manager of the school’s spirit store, The Country Cottage, where she creates new designs for spirit wear and merchandise.
