Discovery Day

school building in the day

April 10, 2018
9 - 10:30 a.m.
Lower and middle school students (early childhood - grade 8)

Discovery Day, our name for open house, is held during the spring for prospective students and parents who are considering Country Day for the early childhood program through grade 8. During this program, you will meet the Head of School, divisional leaders, teachers, administrators, parents, and students. We hope you will discover all that Country Day has to offer.

You will have the opportunity to take a campus tour, experience the excitement of our 1:1 tablet program in Middle School, observe a class or two in our Lower School, participate in a round table discussion with divisional leaders, and see the exciting plans for new buildings and enhancements to our beautiful 62-acre campus. Representatives from our admission, after school, athletics, college counseling, fine arts, and summer programs will be on hand to answer any questions you may have during our Activities Fair.

The spring Discovery Day is for Early Childhood (18 months) – grade 8 families, and is intentionally held during the school day so that you can experience an authentic school day in action.
