At Cincinnati Country Day, we cultivate performers, artists, and advocates of all ages and interest levels through experiential learning and community connection. Our faculty are professionally experienced and fully dedicated to instilling creativity and resiliency in your student through artistic experience in the classroom, in nature, on the stage, or in our gallery spaces.  In this way, we provide your student with the tools to discover their own abilities and to identify and kindle the potential in others for the betterment of our dynamic world.

Creative Growth from Lower to Upper School

Our arts program grows with students at every stage. In Lower School, students build broad skills in art, music, and drama through classes and enrichment opportunities. Middle School encourages deeper exploration through focused coursework in band, choir, theater, and visual art, culminating in a hands-on musical production by eighth grade. In Upper School, students pursue advanced proficiency through specialized courses in performance, technical theater, music, studio art, and photography.

Visual Arts

Visual arts play a vital role in a Country Day education, giving students the opportunity to explore creativity, develop technical skill, and express ideas with confidence. From early childhood through grade 12, our visual arts program nurtures imagination, artistic voice, and cultural awareness, empowering students to engage thoughtfully with the world around them.

Performing Arts

Performing arts are an essential part of a Country Day education, giving students opportunities to express themselves, collaborate, and build confidence through theater and music. Across all divisions, students engage as performers, creators, and audience members—developing skill, appreciation, and a lifelong connection to the arts.
