Bijin Basu (Aegeon) Junior: Bijin is excited to participate in another Cincinnati Country Day School performance! In addition to The Comedy of Errors, Bijin previously had a lead role in the eighth-grade musical, Starmites. Another passion of Bijin's is Kathak, a form of Indian classical dance. In addition to the arts, Bijin is a member of Country Day's Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Council where he aims to create a more accepting community by bringing voice to the minorities of the school. Bijin would like to thank his friends and family for their love and support.

Ella Beyreis (Adriana/Music Video Performing Artist) Senior: Ella is thrilled to spend this year with the cast and crew of Cincinnati Country Day School’s production of The Comedy of Errors. Previously, she has appeared in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Crimes of the Heart, (Babe Botrelle), Chicago (Hunyak), Blithe Spirit (Nubs/Costume Crew), A Chorus Line (Linda), and You Can’t Take It with You (Mrs. Kirby). Also, she will never hear the end of it from Oren Conner if she doesn’t mention the eighth-grade musical, The Lion King Jr. (Young Simba). Ella would like to thank the incredible cast, crew, and production staff for making the theater an amazing place, and, of course, her family.

Natalie Christine (Makeup & Hair Crew) Sophomore: Natalie is jazzed to make her debut as the makeup and hair crew for Cincinnati Country Day School’s production of Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors. She’s overjoyed that the theater directors could fashion a phenomenal way to keep theater going this year. Natalie wants to thank her friend Lizzy Stacy for introducing her to tech crew and the theater community at Country Day.

Oren Conner (Antipholus of Ephesus) Senior: Oren is delighted to be performing as Antipholus of Ephesus in the CCDS production of The Comedy of Errors. In his junior year, he was cast as Dan Dad in the musical of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and as Travis in Crimes of the Heart. He also graced the stage as the Judge in Chicago, John the servant in Blithe Spirit, DePinna in You Can't Take It with You, an ensemble member in A Chorus Line, and a Rhino Ambassador in The Lion King Jr. Oren is the Co-President of his school's Thespian Club, running it alongside his fellow co-star Ella Beyreis. Outside of acting, Oren throws shot put and discus for the Cincinnati Country Day School’s track team. Oren would like to thank all his friends and family for supporting him in his acting career.

Charles Curtis (Assistant Building Crew Head & Film Crew) Senior:  Charles is excited to be a part of the Cincinnati Country Day School’s film crew and as the building crew assistant for the play, The Comedy of Errors. Previously, he has been a spotlight operator for last year’s winter musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and on the technical crew for the musical, Chicago. Charles has primarily worked on building the set for this show but has also been given the opportunity to film using the cameras. He would like to thank his mom and dad for their support, as well as the crew!

Annalyse Deming (Angelo/Music Video Performing Artist/Properties Designer) Sophomore: Annalyse is ecstatic to be acting and designing props for this year's production of The Comedy of Errors. This is her first major technical role at CCDS, though she has previously appeared in the ensemble in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Annalyse is incredibly thankful to be a part of such a great team. In her free time, she enjoys sketching, writing, and reading. She would like to give a special thanks to her family and friends for supporting her thoroughly through all her endeavors, as well as Mr. Rose and Mr. DiTullio who have helped her learn and grow to become the person she wants to be.

Will Donovan (Antipholus of Syracuse/Music Video Performing Artist) Sophomore: Will is incredibly enthusiastic to entertain the new idea of a web series alternative to the school’s play, this year’s being Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors. He is ready to take on the role of the lost and confused Antipholus and make his way into Ephesus, hopefully without too many incidents. Will has participated in previous CCDS productions as Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, as well as Chip Tolentino in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and always loves to bring his passion towards music and the arts to bring on a great show. He would like to thank his parents for their continued support, and Mr. Rose, Mr. DiTullio, and Mrs. Wietmarschen for their continued work on CCDS performing and the energy they bring to each and every production.  

Ryan Graham (Pinch) Senior: Ryan is looking forward to acting in Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors. Previously, Ryan has been on the technical side of theatre. He worked the spotlight in the eighth-grade musical The Lion King Jr. and the Upper School production of Chicago. Ryan has also worked on building crew for A Chorus Line, Blithe Spirit, and Chicago. He switched to acting to perform in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. He would like to thank his parents, Mr. DiTullio, and Mr. Rose for the opportunity to be in this show.

Celie Hudson (Courtezan) Senior: Celie has been in the musicals at Cincinnati Country Day School for the past three years, with roles including Mary Sunshine (Chicago) and Logianne Schwartzandgrubenierre (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee). While sad not to have a normal production, she is glad for the theater community's innovation in finding an alternative method for showcasing her talent. She has enjoyed trying out a new structure!

Pooja Kantemneni (Aemelia) Junior: Pooja is excited to be playing Aemilia in her debut performance in Cincinnati Country Day School’s production of The Comedy of Errors. This is her first foray into the world of theater, and she is glad the theater directors could find a way to keep theater going amidst the pandemic. Pooja wants to thank her friend Margaret Sprigg Dudley for encouraging her to audition for the play this year.

Catherine Kreidler (Luciana) Senior: Although the stage and audience look a little different this year, Catherine is nonetheless excited to continue her support of the theatre program at CCDS. She is playing Luciana in Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors and has previously appeared in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Chicago, and A Chorus Line. Catherine would like to give thanks to her family for their endless love and support and to the cast and crew for all their creativity and hard work in such trying times to make this production possible.

Charlie Limmer (Paint Crew/Pinch Minion #1) Junior: Charlie is ecstatic to be part of the play this year. Previously, he has been featured in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as part of Leaf Coneybear’s family and in Crimes of the Heart as Beau. Charlie also participated in the eighth-grade musical, Starmites. During the production of The Comedy of Errors, Charlie pursued his love of painting by adding his artistic flare to the set pieces for the play. In his free time, he loves to clean cars and make them look beautiful. Charlie is a young and talented person and cannot wait to see where he will be next.

Riley McLearen (Building & Paint Crews) Sophomore: Riley is grateful to have been given the opportunity to be on the painting and building crews for Cincinnati Country Day School’s production of The Comedy of Errors. This was Riley’s first time working behind the scenes in the theater. She is currently in Art II at Country Day with Ms. Brand and this experience of learning along with many years of fascination for art was her inspiration for joining the painting crew for this performance. Riley’s many years of watching the show Gilmore Girls and seeing her idol, Rory Gilmore, help her town with construction to build her resume was her inspiration for applying to be on the building crew, along with wanting to learn how to build things herself. She would like to thank Charlie Limmer for introducing her to the idea of being involved in theater and constantly helping her get to know the others on set and getting to know all the logistics that filming a play holds. She would also like to thank Mr. DiTullio, not only for teaching her how to use a drill, but also how to set up and use a camera. Working with DiTullio and all the cast and crew contributing to this amazing play has been a great experience that Riley is very pleased to have had.

Maggie Mullins (Balthazar) Senior: This is Maggie’s first and last year at Cincinnati Country Day School and has never had the opportunity to participate in theatre before. She is excited to be making her Country Day debut as Balthazar in this production of Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors. Maggie is glad to have been able to experience Country Day’s theatre program, and all the wonderful things it has to offer. Maggie would like to thank her new friends and family who have encouraged her to step out of her comfort zone and try something new and exciting.

Mica Murdoch (Second Merchant) Sophomore: Mica is eager to continue acting in Cincinnati Country Day School’s theatre program. After ensemble roles in the eighth-grade musical Guys and Dolls¸ Crimes of the Heart, and The 25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee, he is excited to have a speaking role. Mica would love to thank Mr. Rose and Mr. DiTullio for finding a way to make this work during COVID. He would also like to thank his parents for keeping up with his crazy schedule.

Miki Ozawa (Costume Crew/Pinch Minion #2) Sophomore: Miki is thrilled to be working on the play The Comedy of Errors this year! Her previous technical crew credits include being on the costume crew in a Pennsylvania high school production of Sound of Music two years ago. Although she has been cast in some plays before, this is only her second opportunity on the technical side of theatre; and she believes that there are going to be a lot of new things to learn. She loves art, fashion, movies, games, music and more. She would like to give special thanks to her family for always supporting her, and her friends for introducing her to this play and helping her whenever she needs it.

Connor Paff (Lighting Designer) Senior: Connor is delighted to be part of the technical crew for this year’s production of The Comedy of Errors. He sincerely hopes that the other cast and crew members are equally as excited. He has held many positions on the technical crew while at Cincinnati Country Day School, including that of lighting designer of The 25th annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Chicago, and the eighth grade production of The Lion King Junior. Previously, he has held the position of co-lighting designer for CCDS’s productions of A Chorus Line and Blithe Spirit, the assistant lighting designer of Little Shop of Horrors, and the assistant stage manager of Crimes of the Heart.  Connor has also participated in the Commonwealth Artists Student Theatre’s (C.A.S.T) productions, where he has been the lighting designer for Puffs, the assistant lighting designer for Shrek the Musical, and light-board operator in Spring Awakening. He has also been a member of the running crew for Cincinnati Young People's Theatre’s production of Legally Blonde.

Taylor Pavlisko (Film & Paint Crews) Senior: Taylor is excited to work on the paint and film crews for Cincinnati Country Day School’s production of The Comedy of Errors. While this is not a normal year, she is happy for the opportunity to try something new. Previously, she has worked as building and running crew head in the eighth-grade musical The Lion King Jr. and on sound crew for You Can't Take It With You, A Chorus Line, and Chicago. She was also the assistant stage manager for Blithe Spirit and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Though Taylor will miss being behind the scenes with the actors, she is thrilled to be returning to crew for The Comedy of Errors and hopes everyone enjoys the show.

Andon Peacock (Assistant Film Crew Head) Junior: Andon is thrilled to be to be part of the technical crew for this year’s production of The Comedy of Errors. He sincerely hopes that the other cast and crew members are equally as excited. He has held many positions on the technical crew while at Cincinnati Country Day School, including that of assistant sound designer of The 25th annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Crimes of the Heart, and Chicago. Previously, he was the head sound designer for the eighth-grade production of Starmites and held a position on running and building crew for Blithe Spirit.

Justin Puckett (Building Crew Head & Film Crew) Junior: Justin is very excited to participate in his fourth show at Cincinnati Country Day School as a member of the technical theater building and film crews. He is demonstrating his leadership capabilities as the head of building crew in this production of The Comedy of Errors. Previously, Justin has been on building and running crew for Chicago, Blithe Spirit, and Crimes of the Heart. He would like to thank his friends and family for constantly being supportive of him.

Ethan Rezer (Gaoler/Officer) Sophomore: Ethan is looking forward to playing the officer and being a part of The Comedy of Errors production at Cincinnati Country Day. He has previously played Nicely-Nicely Johnson in the eighth-grade musical Guys and Dolls and Leaf’s Father/Ensemble in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. He is thrilled to continue his theatrical career at Country Day! He would like to thank his friends and family for their support, as well as his directors, the crew, and fellow cast members for their hard work in these unprecedented times.

Spencer Rodenberg (Film Crew Head) Senior: Spencer is happy to work as a member of the technical crew on his second production with Cincinnati Country Day School theatre. His first production was as the spotlight operator in the musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee last year. While he lacks experience in filming and editing, he knows this is a new experience for everyone who participates in theatre and is happy to help lead the way. He would especially like to thank Mr. Rose and Mr. DiTullio for helping him during this new experience of making a movie out of a play.

Laura Rodzen (Assistant Stage Manager & Building Crew) Junior: Laura is ecstatic to be involved in theater. Although it's her first drama activity, she was an organizer for a couple of smaller shows connected with Christmas and welcoming Spring in her Polish school. Laura is excited to learn new things and meet new people. She would also like to thank everyone for making this theatrical production work despite all problems connected with the pandemic.

Dylan Rumpke (Properties Crew) Freshman: Dylan is excited to be a part of the properties crew for the Shakespeare play, The Comedy of Errors. While this isn’t a typical theatrical production, he is happy to learn more about the filming process and how it works. He was previously set to work on last year's eighth-grade musical, Frozen. He would like to thank the staff, crew, and his parents for this opportunity.

Jessica Rutherford (Production Stage Manager & Scenic Artist) Senior: Jessica is excited to be the production stage manager and the scenic artist for the upper school production of The Comedy of Errors. Previously, she held the position of properties designer for Blithe Spirit, Chicago, Crimes of the Heart, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. In addition to the position of properties designer for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, she also acted as the assistant stage manager, earning her experience in managing duel responsibilities. In other previous Cincinnati Country Day School productions, she enjoyed the role of assistant properties designer; these include You Can't Take It With You and A Chorus Line. She would like to thank her parents for supporting her as she begins another exciting year of theater.

Will Schiff (Sound Crew) Freshman: Will started his Cincinnati Country Day School technical career in eighth grade. Previously, he has worked on the animation crew for the Middle School musical of Frozen Jr. Will is ready to record audio on Comedy of Errors. He thanks his friends and family for all the efforts that have been put into this show.

Anders Scheer (Building & Sound Crews) Sophomore: Anders is excited to participate in the production of The Comedy of Errors. He has previously been a part of sound crew for the eighth-grade musical, Guys and Dolls. Unfortunately, Anders could not play as large a role as he hoped for because he had a conflicting schedule. Despite this, Anders hopes to work together with his peers to create an entertaining play. He gives special thanks to his parents and grandparents, who have supported him throughout the difficult times. He also wishes to thank Mr. DiTullio and Mr. Rose who helped him despite the fact that he is horrible at communicating. Anders wants this to be the best play yet and he hopes for the best out of his peers, as well!

Margaret Sprigg-Dudley (Duke) Junior: Margaret is looking forward to another high school show! Previously, she has appeared in The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee, Crimes of the Heart, Chicago, Blithe Spirit, and the eighth-grade musical, Starmites. In her free time, Margaret enjoys volunteering at the Cincinnati Zoo, playing tennis and softball, and writing for the scroll. She would like to thank her parents for supporting her.

Lizzy Stacy (Makeup & Hair Designer & Building Crew) Sophomore: Lizzy is ecstatic to be returning to technical theater for her second show as makeup designer for Cincinnati Country Day School’s production of Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors. Previously, she has worked on makeup crew in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, as well as on stage in Crimes of the Heart and the eighth-grade musical of Guys and Dolls. She would like to thank her family and friends for all their support, as well as her tech family!

Austin Vaughan (Sound Designer & Assistant Stage Manager) Junior: Austin is excited to be working on this year’s production of Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors. Previously, he has had ensemble roles in Blithe Spirit, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Chicago, and has been on sound crew for Crimes of the Heart. He has worked professionally with Playhouse in the Park in A Christmas Carol and Mothers and Sons, performed and worked as part of the technical crew for Commonwealth Artists Summer Theater’s Ragtime, Shrek, Spring Awakening, Newsies, and more. Austin would like to thank Mr. DiTullio, Mr. Rose, and his parents for their many years of support.

Irene Wang (Assistant Lighting Designer) Junior: Irene is thrilled to be part of the production of Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors this year. This is her first time joining the tech crew and she is very thankful for the opportunity to participate. Irene is excited to learn new skills and to meet new friends. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, playing the piano and doing Taekwondo. Music is her ultimate passion. The love for performing under the lights encouraged her to learn more about lighting design. Irene would like to thank her parents for supporting her and providing her such a precious opportunity to study abroad. She would also like to thank her friends for bringing so much joy into her life. She hopes that everyone enjoys the show!

Lauren Weizer (First Merchant/Luce/Music Video Performing Artist/Costume Crew) Sophomore: Lauren is over-the-moon to be playing the First Merchant and Luce, and to be a member of costume crew in this production of The Comedy of Errors. This past summer she performed in CAST's production of Newsies as another newsie and featured dancer. Previously, Lauren was a member of the featured ensemble in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, played Bonnie Boyle in Crimes of the Heart, and starred as Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls. She would like to thank the amazing cast and crew, as well as Mr. Rose, Mrs. Wietmarschen, and Mr. DiTullio for making this an amazing show. She would also like to thank her family and friends for all their love and support.

Josh Williamson (Dromio of Syracuse/ Music Video Performing Artist) Sophomore: Josh is delighted to play Dromio of Syracuse in this year's production of The Comedy of Errors. He has appeared previously as Scott Porter/Officer Williams in Crimes of the Heart, Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Benny Southstreet in Guys and Dolls. A few of the previous musicals that Josh has been a part of in his community include West Side Story, Anything Goes, and Seussical the Musical. Josh can't express how much he is thankful for the wonderful crew, Mr. DiTullio, Mrs. Wietmarschen, and the new drama teacher Mr. Rose for being flexible enough to create this amazing production through webisodes during the pandemic.
