Performance Training

Cincinnati Country Day School is pleased to have the CCDS Performance Training Program.  This program focuses on the physical and mental preparation for our high school student-athletes.  It will be run year-round, working with our varsity teams throughout their competitive seasons and helping them undertake important foundation work during the off-season.

John Conner and Tristian Burbridge - Sport performance coaches. 

CCDS BurbridgeCoach Burbridge is in his first year coaching at CCDS. A graduate of West Jessamine High School in Nicholasville, KY., Tristian played football and ran track in college for Palomar Junior College and Rockford College. Tristian is in his fourth year working as the head strength and conditioning coach with the Reds Youth Academy and for the past three years has coached track at Walnut Hills. In his spare time, Coach Burbridge says, “It is important to take time for your family and yourself and enjoy things about life that you never have time for during the week.”                     

CCDS ConnerCoach Conner is a Lakota West graduate and played D1 football at the University of Kentucky. Drafted in the fifth round by the New York Jets in 2010, he later played for the New York Giants and the Cincinnati Bengals. This is John’s first year coaching at Cincinnati Country Day School after previously coaching the running backs at CHCA. He is a sports performance trainer and in his spare time enjoys fishing, working out, watching movies, traveling, and dining out.

Male Athletes – Mon – Thursday 3:30 – 5 p.m.
(weight training and speed/agility work each day)

Female Athletes - Tues/Thurs 3:30 – 5 p.m.
(weight training/speed & agility work)
