Performance Training

Cincinnati Country Day School is pleased to have the CCDS Performance Training Program.  This program focuses on the physical and mental preparation for our high school student-athletes.  It will be run year-round, working with our varsity teams throughout their competitive seasons and helping them undertake important foundation work during the off-season.

Sports Performance Coach: Ron Hatten                    

Ron HattenCoach Hatten is a National Strength and Conditioning Association certified trainer, has a bachelor's degree in health and sports studies from Miami University, and a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Arkansas State University. Before coming to Country Day, Ron served as the director of strength and conditioning at Mason High School and St. Xavier High. He also worked with the Pittsburg Pirates baseball team. He has vast experience developing customized strength and condition programs for all ages and specializes in high school sports performance. Coach Hatten teaches weight training courses as a P.E. elective for Upper School students and assist Upper School sports teams with weightlifting workouts.

Weight Room Schedule: 
(For all out-of-season athletes; in-season athletes should check with their coaches.)

Monday – Thursday
3:45 – 5:30 p.m.
Weight training and speed/agility work will be completed each day
