Youth Sports

The CCDS Youth Sports Program was created to allow students in grade K-6 a chance to compete and learn athletic skills with their own classmates in a comfortable and safe environment.  The program enrolls over a hundred participants each season in grades K-6.

The youth sports program is a chance for CCDS students to participate in a team sport and develop stronger athletic, social, and emotional skills.  Participation in team sports aids in the development of athletic and social skills, independence and confidence while attaining cooperative and leadership skills, a sense of accomplishment through reaching goals, and most importantly, stronger bonds with their peers at CCDS while having fun.

The Youth Sports Program offers a wide range of athletic opportunities and is always looking for new athletic clinics/teams to offer in the future.

Open registration for youth sports will be emailed out via email during the following months:
Fall sports – sent out in June
Winter sports – sent out in September
Spring sports – sent out January

The teams and programs listed below occur annually, with more opportunities in the works. In addition to these programs, one day and multi-day clinics are offered in a variety of sports throughout the school year. Many of the daily clinics are led by the CCDS Upper School coaches and players:

Youth Sports program goals:

  • Provide an opportunity for students to learn and develop athletic skills
  • Have fun while promoting fitness
  • Reinforce the school's five character virtues of Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Compassion, and Courage through team play and athletics
  • Strengthen and build our CCDS community
