We are a coeducational, college preparatory, private school in Indian Hill, Ohio serving students from 18 months to 18 years. Since 1926, we have been focused on providing innovative preparation to our students, so they are ready to achieve success in college and life.

Athletics
Our goal is to provide a comprehensive experience through physical activity and interscholastic play that promotes the development of the heart, the mind, and the body for all our student-athletes. Our athletic program provides each student-athlete with an opportunity to grow as a person, a teammate, and an athlete.

Country Day’s strength is rooted in its history of philanthropy. From its founding in 1926, with gifts of land to establish the campus, gifts of cash to develop the early buildings, and countless volunteer hours, Country Day has been built by the generosity of its community.

Closing Information

If school is affected due to bad weather, Cincinnati Country Day School operates on either a two-hour delay or a complete school closure for the day. In an effort to disseminate an announcement in a timely manner, we use One Call Now for time-sensitive, immediate, and emergency alerts, primarily due to inclement weather. These alerts call all phone numbers we have on file for you, so please do not opt out.

School closing/delay information is also posted on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts so make sure to like and follow us on those platforms. It is also posted as a pop-up on our website's homepage. School closing information may also be included on the four local TV networks, although this process has become more unreliable so please check other sources; information will not be posted on the radio.

Please remember that public school yellow bus service is dependent upon the opening, closing, or delay of that school district.

If your child rides a bus
Public school yellow bus service is dependent upon the opening, closing, or delay of that school district. Questions during inclement weather should be directed to the specific public school district’s transportation office. These are the buses that transport to Country Day. The Mason/West Chester (northern) shuttle and Hype Park/Oakley (central/southern) shuttles are school-owned transportation services. Parents will be notified of the transportation schedule during inclement weather via email. Typically, the shuttles will run on the same opening, closing, or delay schedule of the school. Some exceptions apply.
