Meet the Advancement Team

The Advancement Team is excited to work with community members to support our school. As well as coordinating all charitable giving and alumni engagement activities, the team works to forge partnerships with community members, including internships and job shadow opportunities for students and an alumni and parent speaker series to share career experience or expertise. Our mission is fulfilled when we partner with our community to enhance the Country Day experience for all.

Louise has worked at Country Day since 2017 and has been a parent at the school since she and her family moved from the U.K. in 2010. She has four children, currently in Upper School and Middle School. With a background in investment banking, Louise was drawn to working at Country Day by the incredible experience of her children – both in and out of the classroom. Her interests include travel with family, the Cincinnati theater scene, and supporting the Cincinnati Bengals. She dreams of one day living by the sea. Louise leads the advancement team and oversees all aspects of fundraising and alumni engagement.

Peter’s connections to Country Day are deep and varied. He is a proud alumnus of the class of 1980, a parent of three former students, and a 22-year Upper School history teacher. He joined the advancement team in 2022 and is delighted to be serving the school in a new capacity. Peter’s interests include American politics and legal developments, reading for pleasure, golf (room for improvement!), pickleball, and playing cards. As well as maintaining a robust program for alumni engagement, Peter helps parents and alumni achieve their philanthropic goals through major and planned gifts.

Casey joined the Country Day community in July 2022. Having grown up in Chicago, she moved to Cincinnati in 2011 to study fine arts at the University of Cincinnati. Today, she lives in the Over-the-Rhine area of downtown and loves spending time taking photographs, savoring the food at her favorite restaurants, and traveling whenever she is able. Casey is responsible for the school’s annual giving initiatives, including the Country Day Fund, and works with alumni to keep them engaged in the life of the school.

Emily has worked at Country Day since 2007 and has been a member of the advancement team since 2011. She has two sons, who are students in the primary and pre-primary programs of the Lower School. Emily enjoys spending time with family, especially during vacations to the beach or boating on the lake. Emily is responsible for the stewardship of gifts to the school, maintaining the school’s donor and alumni database, and all aspects of data reporting.

Kathy has worked at Country Day since 2016, having first joined the community as a parent in 2002. She has three children, all of whom were lifers at CCDS. She loves to garden, play cards, and do puzzles in her free time and always has a book playing in her car (psychological thrillers are her favorite!). Kathy joined the advancement team in 2022 and is responsible for coordinating a wide range of advancement-related events, including Homecoming and CountryDate, and provides administrative support to the team.
