UPDATED: CCDS Covid 19 Dashboard

The Country Day Rapid Response Team will update the dashboard and send new positive case notifications on Fridays.

Cincinnati Country Day School is happy to announce that Dr. Rodney P. Geier '71 has been selected as this year’s Virtue in Action Award recipient. The CCDS Virtue in Action Award recognizes those alumni that are celebrating their 50th reunion year or more, for their dedication, attitude and motivation expressed through volunteer service to the community. This alumnus exemplifies our motto, Virtue in Action. 

Dr. Geier has had many leadership roles as a volunteer, not only at Country Day but with many other non-profit organizations. He has been on the school's Board of Trustees as well as on the boards for Family Service Agency of Cincinnati and St. Ursula Villa. He served on the Medical Staff Executive Committee of The Christ Hospital.  He also served on the Physician Advisory Board of the Wellness Community and was a Councilor of the Academy of Medicine.  He served on the Board of Cancer Family Care and the Board of Governors of The Cincinnati Country Club, and was president of both boards.

Rodney, a retired radiology oncologist, resides in Hyde Park with his wife Vallie Comisar. Their three daughters - Natalie Cohen ’01, Emily Vollmer’ 03, and Vallie Tapke ’05 - and their families also reside in Cincinnati. Rodney and ValIie have nine grandchildren.
