CCDS athletes, HIrschauer named 2018 Fall All-Stars

Congratulations to the 27 Country Day athletes and girls soccer Coach Theresa Hirschauer who were named on the Enquirer's 2018 Greater Cincinnati high school Fall All-Sars roster.

They are:

Boys soccer

Division III

First team: Anthony Buechly, Cader Rowe, Miller Lyle

Second team: Ethan Jeffries

Girls soccer

Division III

Co-player of the Year: Kate Brock

Brock paced the Miami Valley Conference in points (89), goals (36) and assists (17), receiving first-team all-MVC honors. Her offense was instrumental in the Indians' state-title run.

Co-player of the Year: Katelyn Setters

Setters was named the Miami Valley Conference Player of the Year and was a first-team all-state selection. The senior highlighted a stubborn Cincinnati Country Day defense that allowed only 15 goals all season enroute to a state title.

Coach of the Year: Theresa Hirschauer, Cincinnati Country Day

Hirschauer led Cincinnati Country Day to its first-ever state soccer championship, capping off a 20-2 campaign with a 3-0 win over Kirtland in the final.

First team: Katelyn Setters, Kate Brock, Lawson Renie, Janie Reiring

Second team: Jenna Setters, Chloe Webb

Honorable mention: Jada Moorman
