Grandparents visited their grandchildren on the day before the Thanksgiving break and spent time with them in their classrooms. Lower School students interviewed their grandparents about what they did when they were children. They also worked together on reading, puzzles, arts, crafts and other fun projects.
Those who have grandchildren in the Middle School enjoyed lunch with them before heading to their classrooms, where they attended two class periods. Grandparents worked with their grandchildren on math, science and other subjects.
Both divisions presented programs at the end of the classroom visits. The Lower School presented "A Journey Through Country Day" in Yeiser Auditorium. Middle School band and choir students entertained their grandparents with a concert in Keeler Theater.
