Five Cincinnati Country Day School seniors have been named Commended Students in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program.

They are: Kayla Boaz, Molly Briggs, Moseley Hatcher, Andrew Osborn and Cade Smith. Each will receive a Letter of Commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation, which conducts the program.

Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 scorers of more than 1.6 million students who entered the 2019 competition by taking the 2017 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Earlier this month, Country Day announced its two National Merit Semifinalists from the Class of 2019. They are: Stephen Fatuzzo and Trevor Puckett.
