Students create colorful totems based on their family history

Totems are a sacred object or symbol that serves as an emblem of a group of people or family. After collecting research about family roles and structure for the 7th grade Native American research project, each student conducted an interview with a family member about their own family culture and created their family totem. These family totems represent nationalities, food, and even music! - Brittany Woods
