Join us for a day of service in honor of MLK Day
"Life's most persistent and urgent question is, "What are you doing for others?"
-Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
To heed Dr. King's call to service, Country Day is partnering with La Soupe, an organization that distributes nutritious meals to food-insecure families in Cincinnati. La Soupe has requested our help in repacking two pallets worth of reclaimed food items (muffins and breakfast meat) into individual serving sizes. Please join us:
Monday, January 20
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
10 – 11:45 a.m.-Session I
11:45 a.m. - Lunch break (pizza will be served)
12:15 – 2 p.m. -Session II
To ensure the day is a success, we need to know how many volunteers we will have. Please click here to let us know if you can volunteer for one or both sessions on Monday, January 20 to answer Dr. King's question: "What are you doing for others?"
Questions, contact Angela Barber-Joiner at firstname.lastname@example.org or 979-0309.
Childcare for enrolled lower school students will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Space is limited based on the number of childcare requests we receive and the number of students who volunteer to help with childcare. Student volunteers will be supervised by LS teacher Beth Sponseller.
