Congratulations to Cincinnati Country Day School seniors Stephen Fatuzzo and Trevor Puckett who have been named National Merit Finalists in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program. They can compete for 7,500 National Merit Scholarships, worth more than $31 million, to be offered this spring.
Students first become semifinalists by achieving high scores on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). More than 1.6 million juniors from about 22,000 high schools took the test last fall. Fatuzzo and Puckett scored in the top 1% of the nation's high school seniors and were among 16,000 students named semifinalists nationwide.
