Cincinnati Country Day School says "Hola" to 15 exchange students and their chaperones from Malaga, Spain when they arrive Sunday evening, Sept. 9. The students, from Colegio El Pinar school, will stay with their host families here until Sept. 20.
While in Cincinnati, the Spanish students will experience Homecoming and other aspects of American home and school life. They will shadow their exchange buddy and a peer mentor at school and visit Spanish classes in other divisions. Exchange students will visit the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden and National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Both the Spanish students and the host students will visit Findlay Market and the Sign Museum.
The 15 CCDS host students will travel to Spain in March and will stay with their exchange partners. This is the second exchange organized by the Department of Modern Languages. Last year, students from Colmar, France, visited here, and their CCDS exchange partners traveled to France in March.
