CountrySplash (18-24 months)

Students and their parents participate in an introductory parent/child class that encourages parent child bonding while teaching parents how to help their child become comfortable in the water. The class provides a positive, developmentally appropriate aquatic learning experience with a focus on safety, listening skills, and fun. This program is for toddlers not enrolled in our early childhood program.


Learning objectives include:

  • blowing bubbles
  • paddling while blowing bubbles
  • floating on back with parent assistance
  • kicking with flotation
  • entering and exiting pool
  • submerging mouth, nose, and eyes
  • retrieving submerged objects

Parent participation is required.

Dates:
Fridays –

1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/22, 3/8, 4/5, 4/12, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 5/24
No class on 2/15, 3/1, 3/15, 4/19,

Time: 9:00 – 9:30 am

Ages/Grades: 10 – 24 months

This program is for toddlers not enrolled in our early childhood program.

Cost: $100
50% discount for families who attended Country Play during 2018-19 academic year.
