DESCRIPTION: Welcome to toddlerhood and the first stop on the lifelong journey of fostering independence in your child. "I can do it myself" is a common phrase used by toddlers as they strive to gain their independence while the adults in their lives work to manage them. Gift your child the time and space to explore their independence and practice important developmental skills in a supportive and peaceful environment. Children will participate in active play and purposeful work while strengthening:
- Sensory and Perception
- Self-help Skills
- Physical and Motor Skills
- Social and Emotional Growth
New Leaf Kitchen
We are partnering with New Leaf Kitchen, a non-profit organization with its mission to nourish young minds and bodies through cooking and food education. Children will have hands-on food experiences to help them understand where food comes from, teach them how to prepare it, encourage healthy eating, and learn to explore food using all five senses. New Leaf Kitchen's 'root-up' approach to food education nurtures all aspects of learning - nourishing both minds and bodes. They are offering two programs as CCDS.
- Cooking and Food Exploration Parent/Child Club
- Cooking and Food Exploration Club
Weekly sign-up is not available!
