CCDS Extended Day Camp

Our Extended Day Camp is the perfect solution to extend the day for day camp participants or families with busy schedules seeking a short, structured break in the summer! These programs offer a change of pace, providing campers with opportunities to mix up their activities.

Our offerings give campers who spend the day on campus the chance to discover new interests and try new experiences. For example, a camper in a sports camp might choose an art or STEM program for added variety, ensuring they stay engaged and excited about their camp experience. We encourage families to take advantage of this opportunity to help their children discover new interests and enjoy a well-rounded summer filled with fun and variety.

Description: This camp is designed to extend the fun and learning for our youngest campers attending day camp. Each day will be filled with a variety of activities, including open-ended art projects, snack time, story time, songs and fingerplays, gross motor activities, and unstructured play, offering a well-rounded experience that sparks creativity and exploration.

Description: This week-long camp extends the fun and learning for our kindergarten students enrolled in the STEM Day Camp. Each day features a rich mix of activities, including open-ended art projects, snack time, story time, songs and fingerplays, gross motor activities, and unstructured play—creating a well-rounded experience that encourages creativity, curiosity, and exploration.

Art + Play Lab

Description: This theme-based Art + Play Lab invites campers to step into imaginative worlds through stories, art, and imaginative play. Each day begins with story time to spark ideas and introduce the week’s theme, followed by hands-on craft projects that encourage exploration, creativity, and self-expression. Campers then bring their ideas to life through imaginative play, movement, and collaborative games inspired by their artwork and stories.

ARTventures Studio
Grades: 4 - 8

Description: This open studio art camp is ideal for those who love creating and want to bring their ideas to life. Campers will enjoy the freedom to choose their own projects, whether it's painting, drawing, or another form of art, while receiving guidance and support to help turn their vision and inspiration into reality.

Chess 
Grades: 1 - 8

Description: This camp is a fun place for campers who want to get better at chess, whether they’re hoping to play in tournaments or just enjoy the game more. There will be lots of practice and fun mini tournaments every day to help sharpen their chess skills!

Dribble Skillz

Description: Dribble Skillz is an exciting, high-energy camp designed to help participants improve their ball-handling and dribbling skills, all while grooving to the beat of the music! This fun-filled camp focuses on building foundational skills, increasing agility, and boosting confidence, all in a fast-paced, music-infused environment.

EmpowerU
Grades: 1 – 3

Description: EmpowerU Camp is designed to help campers develop the social-emotional skills they need to thrive. Using the proven Sources of Strength model, sessions will focus on building resilience, confidence, and connections that empower campers to face challenges with a positive mindset. Throughout the week, campers will engage in real-life scenarios that teach critical life skills such as fostering meaningful friendships, practicing sportsmanship, and navigating peer challenges. Whether it's learning how to lose gracefully, building trust in a team, or finding strength in tough moments, every activity is designed to encourage personal growth and emotional well-being.

Description: This camp explores board games, cooperative challenges, and outdoor group play to build teamwork, strategy, communication, and sportsmanship. Through structured and free-choice games, campers practice winning with humility, losing with resilience, and developing confidence, problem-solving skills, and strong peer connections.

Mythic Miners Minecraft

DESCRIPTION:  Mythic Miners Minecraft will dive into the blocky world of Minecraft, using it to craft, code, and explore like never before. Quest and Legends

Salsa to Merengue Dance

Description: Step into the world of graphic novels and unleash your imagination. Campers will develop engaging storylines, and design visuals using tools like Canva, GoPhoto, AIVideo, Pix verse AI, and Tome to bring stories to life.
