CCDSTEM Through Play Camp
Kindergarten
Our STEM Through Play offers hands-on activities that make learning science, technology, engineering, and math exciting and engaging. Campers will explore core STEM concepts through interactive games, challenges, and imaginative projects, all designed to spark curiosity and foster critical thinking and collaboration. The program is a stepping stone to discovery, nurturing a growth mindset that empowers kids to think critically and solve problems. With a focus on teamwork and collaboration, campers will work together to invent, create, and innovate in a supportive environment. In addition to the STEM activities, campers will enjoy a range of interactive experiences including:

Our STEM camps offer campers an unparalleled opportunity to explore the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through interactive and immersive experiences. With a challenging yet engaging curriculum, the camp's activities help develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. In addition to the STEM activities, campers will enjoy a range of interactive experiences including:
- swimming
- outdoor games and activities
The week ends with a STEM Showcase, where campers can present what they’ve learned to family and friends.

Become Junior Detectives in this hands-on forensic Evidence Lab Camp! Campers explore fingerprint analysis, DNA basics, blood spatter patterns, and trace evidence. Students will investigate mock crime scenes, decode hidden messages, and examine clues like fibers and hair. Each day brings new mysteries that build scientific thinking, observation skills, and teamwork. | Step into the Forensic Lab as a real-life detective! Campers explore advanced techniques including fingerprint analysis, DNA profiling, trace evidence, and facial reconstruction. Through investigating mock crime scenes and analyzing physical clues, students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills while uncovering the truth behind each mystery. |

Welcome to Cardboard Regatta! Campers channel their inner engineers to design, build, and race cardboard boats that float and compete in fun water challenges. Students will brainstorm creative designs, test construction techniques, and celebrate ingenuity on the water. | In Cardboard Regatta 2.0, campers design and engineer cardboard boats for thrilling races and creative competitions. Students explore physics, buoyancy, and problem-solving while constructing boats that are tested for speed, durability, and design flair. Collaboration and engineering skills are key to conquering the regatta! |

Dive into coding with Ozobot Explorers! Campers program tiny robots using color codes and block-based coding to navigate mazes, obstacle courses, and fun challenges. Through experimentation and teamwork, students learn logic, sequencing, and problem-solving while making their Ozobots come alive. | Welcome to BattleBots Robo Rumble! Campers design, build, and program battle-ready robots for exciting competitions. This camp blends engineering, coding, and strategy as students develop robots capable of moving, reacting, and competing in thrilling challenges, sharpening teamwork and STEM skills along the way. |

Blast off in Space Voyagers Camp! Campers embark on hands-on activities exploring planets, gravity, and space science. They will design space-themed projects, experiment with forces, and discover the wonders of the cosmos in a fun, age-appropriate way. |
Launch into Exploring the Universe Camp! Students investigate planets, stars, galaxies, and the physics of space travel through experiments, simulations, and engineering challenges. Teams design missions, solve space-based problems, and apply scientific thinking to unlock the mysteries of the cosmos. |

July 6 – July 10 |
Blocky World of Minecraft reimagined, just creativity, teamwork, and a whole lot of fun. Inspired by Minecraft, this immersive STEM camp transforms digital concepts into real-world creation. Campers will engage in design thinking, spatial reasoning, and collaborative problem-solving as they build a life-size Minecraft-inspired world. Students will engineer structures, design challenges, and test solutions, all while working as a team. | Step into Rube Goldberg Engineering Camp! Campers combine creativity, physics, and engineering to design chain-reaction machines. Using simple materials and inventive ideas, students create complex contraptions, learning teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving along the way. |

Explore the magic of Junior Chemists! Campers mix, measure, and experiment with safe, colorful materials to discover chemical reactions, make slime, erupt volcanoes, and explore everyday science in a fun, hands-on way. Through curiosity-driven experiments, students will learn observation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while having a blast investigating the “wow” moments of science. | Bring ideas to life in 3-D Design & Printing Lab! Students create digital models using CAD software and transform them into real objects with 3-D printers. Through brainstorming, prototyping, and testing, campers strengthen spatial reasoning, engineering skills, and problem-solving, producing unique 3-D printed creations by week’s end. |

Get creative in Makey Makey STEM Lab! Campers transform fruits, toys, and household objects into interactive keyboards, games, and musical instruments. Students learn circuits, conductivity, and basic coding while experimenting, problem-solving, and collaborating on fun, hands-on projects. | Dive into Minecraft EDU Camp! Campers explore the world of Minecraft through building, coding, and design challenges. Students construct imaginative structures, solve engineering puzzles, and develop problem-solving and teamwork skills while bringing their virtual creations to life. |

Welcome to Tinkering Lab! Campers explore invention and creativity through hands-on projects, designing and building robots, gadgets, and experiments. Students develop problem-solving, design thinking, and engineering skills while turning ideas into reality. | One click starts it all in Click to Coding Camp! Campers learn computer science fundamentals through interactive projects, creating games, animations, and apps using block-based and introductory text-based coding in Click to Coding Camp. Students develop problem-solving, logical thinking, and computational skills while discovering how coding powers the digital world. |
